Whitehall Lane 2019 Whitehall Merlot Napa, Napa County

Whitehall Lane is a small, family owned winery in Napa Valley’s historic Rutherford appellation. They grow 157,411 grape vines in their eight estate vineyards including the Leonardini Vineyard in St. Helena. They are dedicated to growing and making the finest wines, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Estate using Napa Green certified and sustainable practices.

This Merlot offers black cherries, brambly red fruit, pomegranats, red currants, cinnimon, layers of graphites and licorice. On the palate, this Merlot has fine, firm tannins and its subtle texture shows an attractive depth on the finish. Flavors of mixed berry tar, wild strawberries, dark cranberries, rubarb, toasted walnuts, chocolate covered cherries and toasted brioche. With proper cellaring, this wine can be enoyed until 2032
