Petro Kostiv, the co-founder of the brand has been a friend of master distiller Mr. Saul Perez Ocampo from NOM 1500 for over 10 years. He is also the master distiller for Codigo tequila.

Every tequila produced by this distillery has been perfected over five generations by the Perez Ocampo Family, one of the oldest distilling families in Amatitan, Jalisco

Petro Kostiv received a bottle of tequila as a gift and was so passionate about tequila that a partnership began. He has visited Jalisco several times and wanted to create a tequila that was 100% artisan tequila made with quality and handcrafted by those in the community who love their land of agave. It is Petro Kostiv’s mission to represent the Mexican culture, its roots, flavors and textures through tequila.

Nose / Aroma / Smell
The nose has vanilla, agave, wood, and oak aromas, as well as dark fruit with cherry and a touch of raisins.

There's a pleasant sweetness on the soft palate with vanilla, pepper, cooked agave, and oak.
