All about Liquer or Liqueur

A liqueur is an intoxicating beverage made of remedied spirits with other flavors such as sugar, herbs fruits, and spices. Liqueurs have a history that extends back to the 1300s as they were every so often used medicinally or descendants of herbal medicines. Now they are made all over the globe, generally served neat, over ice in cocktails.

Liqueurs have got a broad variety of flavors, from cocoa to mint to orange to cream liqueurs, like Irish Cream which are much sweeter which sipped in hot/cold brew coffee.

Types of Liquer or Liqueur

Amaro:

Amaro  Italian for “bitter” is a wide group of local Italian bitters and is made from brandy with a blend of vegetal ingredients of spices, flowers barks and gives each variety of amaro its unique flavor.

Cream liqueurs:

Are sweet liqueurs are made with the addition of milk ,  with sugar and gives creamy sweetness to the drink.

Creme liqueurs:

Creme liqueurs are thick, sugar-like beverages which do not contain dairy.

Amaretto:

Amaretto made from apricot kernels and has a particularly sour almond taste. Purer tones of brown sugar calm the bitter taste of the apricot and it contains 21–28 percent alcohol.

Coffee liqueurs:
