Summer is officially here !! It is hands down my favorite season. The sun is in full force and the heatwaves are coming in HOT. Bright sunny days, cloudless skies, your deck is all set up and your backyard is ready for hosting.


With all these hot days ahead, it's now the perfect time to explore more White, Sparkling and Rosé wines for your next weekend grill out. We have a few of our favorites here at Wine Barrica and we are excited to share them with you.

You will want to make sure to chill these wines before serving them, especially on these hot summer days as it makes for a more refreshing sip.


Cakebread Cellars, Kobrand 2019 Reserve Chardonnay Los Carneros, Napa County, California $72.50

The seductive, slightly floral aromas of delicious golden apple and honeydew melon, with complementary scents of crème brulee, yeast and mineral, preface a lush, full-bodied palate offering intense and expansive melon, peach and apple flavors accentuated by fresh, perfectly balanced acidity.

The wine’s long, elegant and focused finish showcases bright, apple flavors with hints of citrus, mineral and oak spice.

La Crema winery has dedicated more than 30 years to exploring the many expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from California and Oregon’s finest winegrowing regions. This bottle of the 2020 La Crema Russian River Chardonnay begins with aromas of lemon blossom, honeysuckle, and yellow plum. Followed by flavors of fresh nectarine, apricot, and ripe pear.

LA CREMA SAUVIGNON BLANC 2021 $29.99 

La Crema Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc is an elegant, juicy and crisp white wine with tropical fruit notes. A light bodied La Crema wine, this opulent, yet approachable Sauvignon Blanc white wine offers aromas of guava, passion fruit and orange blossom followed by flavors of pomelo and honeydew melon. Each sip has a wonderful texture and volume along with vibrant acidity.

With the first sip, the wine opens with lovely scents of white peach, citrus, lavender and Mediterranean herbs. As a classic Provençal style, ripe raspberry, wild strawberry and crushed watermelon notes are complemented by layers of minerality and hints of sea spray. Delicate and softly textured on the mid-palate before a refreshingly crisp, memorable finish.

This Bottle of J Brut Rosé bubbles with a vibrant, pink salmon hue and inviting scents of jasmine blossom, Kaffir lime leaf, tangerine and raspberry. The flavor is creamy and delicate, with a fine, energetic mousse that tickles the tongue. The deeply nuanced palate features notes of ripe strawberry, Bing cherry, blood orange and lemon meringue, with hints of slivered almond and watermelon juice.
